There isn’t much that has fascinated me in playing tactical games other than this. Frozen Synapse has proven, to a large extent, to be among the most thrilling experiences for me because every movement is of key importance, and in most cases, the foreseen movements of the opponent end up defining who wins a match. There’s nothing short of the strategic sense and artistic design of it-it indeed gives a feel of one true tactician commanding his crew of operatives for some intense battle on turn-to-turn.

Frozen Syncape is a tactical game that forces a gamer to take hold and lead his choice of differing operatives in performing a variety of different types of missions. For all intents, it simply entails that you will find out: player and his nemesis make his moves in the real time context for the specific purpose of enacting activities at a time when he concluded that tactic.
A top view game with clean neon aesthetic design, it’s purely a positioning strategy game against outwitting the opponent. Who knows what’s gonna happen in the single-player campaign or in a truly intense multiplayer match.
Frozen Synapse is a title developed by Mode 7 Games, which was released in 2011. It’s going to be designed for something that is going to trouble a player and make him worry very much about careful planning and foresight for rewards. Frozen Synapse is no other game as it allows real-time execution coupled with simultaneous turn-based gameplay.
The graphics are simple but beautiful because the game uses glowing lines and geometric shapes as characters and environments. Electronic soundtrack was created by Paul Taylor, alias nervous_testpilot, and really complements the theme of the game being very futuristic.
These are your controllable units equipped with specific weapons and powers like rifles, shotguns, or grenades.
These are enemy forces which can either be AI controlled or another player. And like your operatives, but they just do things differently.
This is the single-player campaign mission character and is supposed to let you in on why you’re doing what you’re doing
This isn’t a character’s background; all units become part of your strategic plan.
This is what you’ll need to run Frozen Synapse:
OS: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10
Processor: 1.6 GHz or equivalent
RAM: 2 GB
Graphics: OpenGL 2.0-compatible card
Storage: 250 MB
Frozen Synapse actually has a relatively low requirement on the computer making it accessible on almost any computer, even some older systems.
I cannot give you direct links to download Frozen Synapse. You can get it, however, directly from Steam or GOG. Do let me know if you need help to find it or check the system requirements.
After all, Frozen Synapse is the treasure of the genre for any fans of this tactics strategy. It makes a player think at least several steps forward, predict moves by the opponent well in advance, and execute perfect plans. Since it will outsmart the opponent, its satisfaction can never be defeated because every decision counts.
It does it all-under the gripping single-player campaign and intense multiplayer battles. Clean design, innovative gameplay-that puts the game head and shoulders above other tactical games. For players who love games where the result of every move depends on the strategy applied, Frozen Synapse is a must-play.
